Two and a half star This was an easy to read story about a little girl named Hannah who starts attending a school for 'emotionally disturbed' children, and also focuses on Mary's journey to becoming a fully qualified teacher. You can just tell that MacCracken loved what she was doing, even when times got a little difficult, she never gave up on her children. Me I read it on my own when I found it at the school's library.
