The letters are choosing their future. I have to play something and see if it happens. Lesson Summary A game of Scrabble has interesting consequences in ''Death By Scrabble''. She expecting that the husband is crazy and the psychiatrist would take the husband to the asylum. In this story the terms imagery, the use of foreshadowing, and mostly irony. I wonder if the strength of the quake will be proportionate to how many points it scored. This indicates that she too felt the same way in the relationship, and that she wanted him dead just like he wanted her.
I think that a lesson from this story would be to not blame others for your unhappiness, because most of the time it is probably something inside yourself causing the displeasure. Though I did the best I could with the supporting points I used, I don't think I truly believed what I wrote. That's how bad it is. And then she bitched at me for being moody the next day from lack of sleep. After seeing the other versions I decided I would not try to illustrate this reading. I can hear buzzing insects outside. I found both interest and truth inside the few pages of this short story.
When I walked out I was twenty one. Drain every penny from the slush fund. Clearly, she has felt the same way about him as he felt about her. The story narrates how the words in the game reflect the practical life of the players. And for this couple, for the present time the only way they really wanted to truly talk to each other was by playing Scrabble.

What he fails to realize, is that she quite possibly has mutual feelings of blame, hatred and death towards him and that blaming someone else for his unhappiness will not get him anywhere. This would probably be an essay I would completely re-write, most likely with a different thesis and at least different supporting points. I like to keep Scrabble personal. The fact that he ultimately dies makes him a static character. For what it is, this story is okay.
I think the irony the author portrays with the telling of this story is a part of the message he is trying to get across. For what it is, this story is okay. After you begin reading, you expect to find out about a murderous husband who wants his wife gone, but twists at the very last sentence, which is why I believe this story is so amazing. The 42 year old husband detests his wife and has nothing positive to say about his wife. I draw blood clawing at my neck. After he figures out the words played are coming true, he tries to play words so he can kill her. It was not very gripping, and definitely not something I'd pick up to read out of a big pile. In every version I watched important points were left out. I felt uneasiness more than enjoyment for most of this. An extra couple of days in every week that only I knew existed.
